This is a very hardy fish that seeks safety in large groups. In the aquarium, they seem to do much better when surrounded by a few good friends. Try groups of three to seven in smaller aquariums, between 30 to 90 gallons, and larger groups of 15 or more chromis in larger display aquariums.
